Krishi Chetna कृषि चेतना

Krishi Chetna is a Hindi‑language agricultural magazine published by the ICAR–Indian Institute of Maize Research (IIMR) with the objective of making scientific and practical agricultural knowledge accessible to a wider audience, particularly in the Hindi‑speaking regions of India.

The magazine serves as a bridge between agricultural research and the farming community, presenting relevant information in a simple, accessible and engaging manner. It disseminates knowledge on scientific advancements, improved crop production technologies, innovative farming practices, value addition and other emerging developments in agriculture, with a special emphasis on maize.

Through contributions from scientists, subject experts and practitioners from across the country, Krishi Chetna brings research‑based information closer to farmers, students, teachers, researchers, policymakers and other stakeholders. The magazine seeks to promote awareness and encourage the adoption of appropriate technologies that can contribute to improved productivity and sustainable agricultural development.
